Overview

The AllCare Nurse App is a mobile application designed for nurses, med techs, and caregivers to manage patient care directly from their iOS or Android device. The app enables medication administration (MedPass), task management, resident lookup, and AI-powered assistance—all while on the floor.
Key Benefit: Perform MedPass, document tasks, and access patient information without returning to a desktop computer.

Who Can Use This App

The AllCare Nurse App is available to facility staff who have:
Permissions RequiredYour facility administrator must grant you access to MedPass and/or Tasks before you can use those features in the app.

Quick Start

Get up and running with the AllCare Nurse App in under 5 minutes:

Download the App

Download AllCare Nurse from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)

Open and Select Login Method

Open the app and choose to log in with your email/password or phone number

Enter Your Credentials

Enter your AllCare login credentials (same as the web platform)

Verify with OTP

Enter the one-time password sent to your phone or email

Select Your Facility

If you have access to multiple facilities, select which one to work in

Start Using the App

You’ll land on the Residents tab—you’re ready to go!

Logging In

Login Methods

The app supports two login methods:

Email & Password

Use your AllCare email and password—the same credentials you use on the web platform

Phone Number

Enter your registered phone number to receive an OTP code

Step-by-Step Login

Open the App

Tap the AllCare Nurse app icon on your device

Choose Login Method

Select “Login with Email” or “Login with Phone”

Enter Credentials

  • Email login: Enter your email address and password
  • Phone login: Enter your registered phone number

Verify Identity (OTP)

A one-time password will be sent to your phone or email. Enter the 6-digit code to continue.
OTP codes expire after 5 minutes. If expired, tap “Resend Code” to get a new one.

Select Facility (if applicable)

If your account has access to multiple facilities, select the facility you’re working at today. You can switch facilities later in Settings.

Forgot Password

If you’ve forgotten your password:
  1. Tap “Forgot Password” on the login screen
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your email for a password reset link
  4. Create a new password (must meet security requirements)
  5. Return to the app and log in with your new password

App Navigation

Once logged in, you’ll see four main tabs at the bottom of the screen:

View and search patient/resident profiles

MedPass

Administer medications and document administration

Tasks

View and complete assigned tasks

Settings

Account settings, facility selection, logout

Residents Tab

Your home screen for patient information:
  • Search for residents by name
  • View profiles including demographics, contacts, and medical information
  • Access medication lists for each resident
  • Add notes and documentation

MedPass Tab

Medication administration workflow:
  • View scheduled medications for all residents
  • Filter by time window (morning, noon, evening, bedtime, PRN)
  • Document administration with timestamps
  • Record refusals or holds with reasons
  • Track PRN medications separately

Tasks Tab

Task management and completion:
  • View assigned tasks for your shift
  • Complete tasks and add documentation
  • Add interventions when needed
  • Filter by status (pending, completed, overdue)

Settings Tab

Account and app management:
  • Switch facilities (if you have multi-facility access)
  • Change password
  • View app version
  • Log out

AI Chat Assistant

The AllCare Nurse App includes an AI-powered chat assistant accessible from any screen:

What You Can Access

Your access in the app depends on permissions set by your facility administrator:

Requesting Additional Access

If you need access to features you don’t currently have:
  1. Contact your facility administrator or supervisor
  2. Request the specific permission you need
  3. Once granted, log out and log back in to refresh your permissions

Best Practices

Security

  • Always log out when done
  • Never share your login credentials
  • Use a strong password
  • Keep your device locked

Documentation

  • Document medications immediately after administration
  • Be specific in notes and comments
  • Record accurate timestamps
  • Document refusals with reasons

Connectivity

  • Ensure stable WiFi or cellular connection
  • Sync before going to low-connectivity areas
  • Check for sync status indicators

Battery

  • Keep device charged during shifts
  • Consider a portable charger
  • Close unused apps to save battery

FAQ

Yes! Your AllCare login credentials work for both the web platform and the mobile app. If you can log in to platform.allcare.ai, you can use those same credentials in the app.
If your account has access to multiple facilities, you’ll be prompted to select one after logging in. You can switch facilities anytime by going to SettingsSwitch Facility.
The app requires an internet connection (WiFi or cellular data) for most features. Some data may be cached locally, but you’ll need connectivity to document medications and sync your work.
Your facility administrator controls which features you can access. If you don’t see MedPass or Tasks, contact your administrator to request access. You may need to log out and back in after permissions are updated.
Updates are delivered through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Enable automatic updates on your device, or manually check for updates periodically.
Yes. The AllCare Nurse App uses encrypted connections and follows HIPAA security requirements. Data is transmitted securely and access is controlled by your permissions.

Troubleshooting

Possible causes:
  • Incorrect email or password
  • Account locked due to multiple failed attempts
  • Account not activated
Solution:
  1. Verify you’re using the correct email address
  2. Try the “Forgot Password” option to reset
  3. Contact your administrator if account may be locked
Possible causes:
  • Phone number not registered correctly
  • SMS blocked by carrier
  • Email in spam folder
Solution:
  1. Wait 1-2 minutes (codes can be delayed)
  2. Tap “Resend Code” to get a new one
  3. Check spam/junk folder if using email
  4. Contact support if issue persists

  • Outdated app version
  • Corrupted installation
  • Device compatibility issue
Solution:
  1. Force close and reopen the app
  2. Check for app updates in your app store
  3. Uninstall and reinstall the app
