Hardware Requirements

Desktop/Laptop

  • Processor: Intel Core i3 or equivalent (i5 or higher recommended)
  • RAM: 4 GB minimum (8 GB recommended)
  • Screen Resolution: 1280x720 minimum (1920x1080 recommended)
  • Internet Connection: Broadband connection with 5 Mbps or higher

Mobile Devices (Provider App)

  • iOS: iPhone running iOS 14 or higher
  • Android: Devices running Android 10 or higher
  • Storage: 200 MB free space minimum
  • Internet: WiFi or cellular data connection

Network Requirements

Bandwidth

  • Minimum: 5 Mbps download, 1 Mbps upload
  • Recommended: 25 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload
  • Multiple Users: Add 2 Mbps per concurrent user

Firewall Configuration

The AllCare platform requires access to the following domains:
platform.allcare.ai
api.allcare.ai
cdn.allcare.ai
*.amazonaws.com (for file storage)

Ports

The following ports must be accessible:
  • HTTPS: Port 443 (required)
  • WSS: Port 443 (for real-time updates)

Software Requirements

PDF Viewer

A PDF viewer is required for viewing reports and documents:
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader (recommended)
  • Built-in browser PDF viewer

Optional Software

  • Barcode Scanner: For medication scanning (facility/pharmacy use)
  • Signature Pad: For EPCS and document signing (provider use)
  • Printer: For printing prescriptions and labels

Security Requirements

Account Security

  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Required for all users
  • Password Requirements:
    • Minimum 12 characters
    • Mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
    • Changed every 90 days

Device Security

  • Antivirus: Active and updated antivirus software required
  • OS Updates: Keep operating system up to date
  • Firewall: Active firewall protection
  • Encryption: Full disk encryption recommended for devices accessing PHI

Compliance Requirements

AllCare is HIPAA compliant. Users must follow organizational policies for handling Protected Health Information (PHI).

Required Training

  • HIPAA Privacy and Security training
  • AllCare platform training
  • Role-specific compliance training (EPCS for providers, etc.)

Mobile App Requirements

iOS (iPhone)

  • Operating System: iOS 14.0 or higher
  • Device: iPhone 8 or newer
  • Storage: 200 MB free space
  • Camera: Required for patient identification and documentation

Android

  • Operating System: Android 10 or higher
  • RAM: 3 GB minimum
  • Storage: 200 MB free space
  • Camera: Required for patient identification and documentation

Peripheral Devices

For Providers

  • E-Prescribing:
    • DEA-compliant two-factor authentication device
    • Biometric authentication device (fingerprint or facial recognition)

For Pharmacies

  • Barcode Scanner: GS1-compliant barcode scanner
  • Label Printer: Thermal label printer for prescription labels
  • Signature Pad: For patient signatures

For Facilities

  • Barcode Scanner: For medication administration (optional)
  • Document Scanner: For intake documents and forms

Page Load Times

  • Dashboard: < 2 seconds
  • Patient Records: < 3 seconds
  • Reports: < 5 seconds
